Alpacas Small Business Farm

“Why Alpacas?” “What do you do with them?” These are the most frequent questions we get. We love Alpacas for a variety of reasons. We love them as pets, Alpacas can be affectionate and friendly. They are curious and love to explore, which make them interesting to watch. Alpacas are ruminates and they graze on grass throughout the day, this reduces our lawn mowing. We shear them every year and use the fiber. The fiber is processed on our farm and we use it for making wearable art. Finally, we breed the females and watch them with anxious anticipation until they give birth. We raise the crias (baby alpacas) until they find new homes.
